About SiteCMD

I'm Kyle Piontek, founder of SiteCMD. I've been building and maintaining websites for over two decades, for everyone from small local businesses to fortune 500 companies, and the same handful of problems kept coming back: a missing security header, a certificate about to expire, an accessibility issue nobody caught until someone ran into it, and other mechanical issues.

For years I kept those in check with a folder of bash scripts. They ran the checks I'd learned to care about, so the things that quietly break didn't slip through the cracks between deploys.

In April 2025 I was laid off. Instead of only sending out resumes, I started turning those scripts into a proper CLI tool. Eventually I decided to build a nice desktop UI for it, and that became SiteCMD: one place to scan a site and its code, see what's actually wrong, and fix it, instead of stitching together a dozen separate tools and browser tabs.

SiteCMD is a product of my company, Brambleworks LLC. It runs the same checks every time and tells you what it finds, no guessing and no opinions. If you ever need a hand with your own site, that's something we can help with too.

SiteCMD is open source under the Apache License 2.0. The desktop app, scan engine, CLI, and MCP server live in one public repository at github.com/brambleworks/SiteCMD, so you can read exactly what a check does before you trust it.
